Pay Per Click advertising on search engines like Google and Bing is one of the fastest ways to get new visitors to your website.
Our clients typically see average click through rates of over 5%, that’s 2 ½ times the average for Pay Per Click. We’ve taken over campaigns from other agencies with less than 1% click through rate, and over the course of a couple of months, improved them to a 5-6% click through rate. And while we agree with many Pay Per Click experts who argue that click through rate isn’t a great measure of campaign success, we’d argue people not clicking on your ads is a pretty good indicator that something isn’t working.
While Google is clearly the 800lb gorilla in the Paid Search field, we find that Bing can bring well qualified traffic for many campaigns. While Bing sends less traffic, we always recommend testing a portion of your budget on Bing. We include campaign creation and management in our service.
Feacbook is another story….except in very specific cases we’ve found Facebook is really only a useful tool for brand awareness. You can buy a lot of impressions for a very modest budget if you use features such as demographic and competitor fan page targeting. However, when Facebook does send signification traffic, it can be poor quality and hard to convert. We’ll be happy to work with you to create Facebook ad campaigns, and be sure to monitor their success carefully.
